Hello my name is Tiera and I have experience working with kids for 5+ years. My first job at 15 is where it all started when I worked the summer in the youth care program for one of the Minneapolis parks and Recreation. Following up I worked at Great wolf lodge in the water park area from 16-17 years old and even though that’s not hands on with kids I still count it because it was my responsibility to help keep it safe for them. Once I turned 18 and graduated high-school I began working for the new horizon company working with the ages as young as 6 weeks up to the age of 5yrs ,but, main group with the ages of 18 months- 3yrs. I am currently in process of getting my CDA which is an early education associates. I am licensed certified in First aid & cpr. I believe in the conscious discipline method and that’s how I am with the children in my care. I’m also skilled in the creative curriculum area so I’m comfortable enough to say I CAN help your child meet there milestones. Hello! My name is Tiffani and I am an aspiring speech language therapist/communication specialist. I have recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelors in Speech and Hearing Sciences and will be attending the University of Minnesota's Twin Cities' Speech Language Therapy Program during Fall of 2026. As for my own personal interests and hobbies, I thoroughly enjoy cooking, biking, and finding fun crafts from Pinterest to do! I like to spend my free time in the nature and tufting rugs. I have a strong love for animals and currently have 3 cats of my own. Fun fact - but I also care for an outdoor colony of 6 cats! I have also cared for dogs, parakeets, and fish in my past as well. I have two years of experience working as a childcare assistant teacher and direct support professional. In these roles, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals of varying abilities and across different life stages—including toddlers, adults, and seniors. I consistently applied and strengthened my skills in cooking, cleaning, and running errands, while remaining attentive to the unique needs and personal goals of each individual.
