Hi I’m Melody Jones and I am a 23 yr old bilingual (Spanish) Clinical Mental Health Counseling masters student at the University of Memphis. I offer various babysitting services, from set schedules to date nights and occasional help! I have over 8 years of child care experience from babysitting, nannying and other jobs. Over that time I have worked with children ranging ages 2 months- 13 years old. I enjoy working with a family that likes to get outside on a sunny Memphis day, as well as one that enjoys a good indoor craft and day well spent at home. I can assist all ages with homework as well as preparing meals, and driving them to their activities. I can also help parents with household tasks and errands to help lighten the load. I enjoy being able to assist in ways that allow you to focus on quality time with your family outside of other responsibilities. I also enjoy working with your four legged friends! I have spent many years pet sitting for both dogs and cats! I can assist with drop ins during log shifts for a food refill or even a long walk. I have been in the medical field for 13 years which includes being CPR certified. I enjoy caring for other as if the were my own family. Between working in hospitals and clinics I have found that working with people is my passion. I also have a love for animals since I was a child volunteering at an animal shelter.

I have experience looking after younger children, helping with homework, preparing meals, and keeping them engaged in fun, safe activities. I also worked as a sales associate at Frost Bake Shop, where I’ve developed strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. In addition, I’m comfortable caring for dogs, including feeding, walking, and basic grooming.
