I am an animal advocate and love them dearly. I am a special education teacher. I have my own animals and bring animals into my classroom and they are wonderful additions to my classroom and my students. I have rescued over 45 bunnies all different breeds and found them loving homes. I have personally fostered kittens, guinea pigs and bottle fed different types of birds. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds (parakeets, love birds, green cheek conures and cockatiels). When I was in high school I worked in an exotic pet store. The youngest is 7, and the oldest will be graduating college in the next few years (I still can't believe it!). Being closely involved in their lives has given me a strong, intuitive understanding of children at every stage. I also have some professional childcare experience from my time at KinderCare, but I thrive most in one-on-one or small-family settings where I can give children my full attention.
