Hi! I’m Melissa, a 27 year old longtime babysitter, newly back in the U.S. after three years in London. I’ve been babysitting for over 10 years, with experience ranging from toddlers to early teens. I first became the go-to sitter in my neighborhood growing up in Philadelphia, and word quickly spread - my parents’ coworkers started calling on me too! Over the years, I’ve also taken on pet-sitting duties for both dogs and cats, sometimes for a few days and other times for several weeks at a time. Hi! I’m Ava, a Yale grad and former Division I swimmer with a passion for working with kids. I studied English at Yale with a concentration in Writing, and spent a year as a Teacher’s Aide at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, where I worked with students across multiple grade levels. I also spent 3 years as a swim instructor at Empire Swim School in Tarrytown, teaching kids of all ages and skill levels to swim, so I’m very comfortable working with children in all kinds of settings. Additionally I have years of experience nannying and babysitting kids of all ages. As a varsity athlete who trained 20+ hours a week, I bring a lot of energy, patience, and structure to everything I do. Hello! I’m an Art History major at the University of Virginia and currently a visiting student at NYU.
