Amina $15 per hour for 1 child

Hiii ✨ My name is Mina, and I’m a 21-year-old caregiver with several years of experience working with children of all ages. I’m a former preschool teacher and currently working toward becoming a Behavior Technician (RBT), where I’m learning new skills to support children’s growth, communication, and overall development. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment while also encouraging learning through everyday activities. Whether it’s helping with routines, engaging in play, or supporting emotional needs, I always aim to make children feel comfortable and cared for. As for my availability, I’m available in the mornings Monday through Friday, and I’m fully available all day on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and provide reliable, thoughtful care! —>> 🐾 Client & Safety Policy First-Time Walks: For large, shy, reactive, or nervous dogs, a meet-and-greet with the owner present is required before solo walks begin. Leash & Handling Policy: If a dog cannot be safely leashed or shows defensive behavior (growling, snapping, lunging, repeated close-proximity barking), I reserve the right to cancel the session for safety reasons. The full session rate will still apply, as the time slot and travel have been reserved. Health & Behavioral Disclosure: Clients must disclose if a dog is in heat, has a history of leash resistance, or has shown defensive behavior toward new handlers. Undisclosed conditions that prevent safe handling may result in cancellation with full charge. I am fully background-checked, patient, reliable, nurturing, and very accommodating to each family’s needs. I love creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can feel comfortable, supported, and happy. If you live a distance away and need urgent care, I kindly ask that transportation be covered via Lyft or Uber. I do have mild cat allergies, but I don’t mind being around pets — I may just be sneezing a bit! 😅 Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or would like to get to know me better. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and help care for your little ones!

Hi! I’m a responsible 20-year-old sitter in the Bronx with 4 years of babysitting experience. I’ve cared for children of various ages and am comfortable managing multiple kids while keeping things organized, safe, and fun. I can assist with meal prep, light household chores, and homework help — especially in ELA and Social Studies. Carley 5 reviews
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! My name is Carley, and I am a recent master's graduate in art therapy. My education has given me a strong understanding of children’s unique needs, including how temperament and developmental stages (including creative development!) can shape the way a child experiences the world. I would love to bring along age-appropriate art materials to nurture your child’s self-expression and budding curiosities! My favorite part of caregiving is engaging with children’s imagination, along with the limitless questions and humor that often arise. I also enjoy approaching childcare with creative problem-solving. On multiple occasions, I have successfully distracted a child from a screen by drawing their favorite character and inviting them to color it. I have experience caring for children from infancy through the pre-teen years. I have lived in NYC for a decade and am also comfortable commuting with children on public transportation. My approach is collaborative — I want to work within your parenting style while taking the time to understand your child’s individual personality and inner world. I bring a warm presence, a playful spirit, and a genuine enjoyment of following children’s interests and seeing where their curiosity takes them.

“I’ve known Carley for more than 10 years, since we met while studying abroad, and I’m so happy to recommend her as a caregiver. Over the years, I’ve always known her to be thoughtful, responsible, warm, and incredibly creative. While I haven’t personally seen Carley in a caregiving role, I know she has extensive experience working with children of all ages and has put a great deal of thought and care into building her skills in this area, including through her master’s degree in art therapy. One thing I know for sure is that a child in Carley’s care would never be bored—she is incredibly creative and would be the kind of sitter to come up with fun activities, make art together, and really engage with a child’s imagination and interests. Carley is someone I’ve trusted and valued as a friend for more than a decade, and I would feel completely comfortable recommending her to families looking for a kind, responsible, and genuinely fun caregiver.”

Hello!! I have 12 years of childcare experience with 4 of those years spent as a full-time nanny and 1 of them as a house/nanny-manager. I have experience with children ages 3 months-13 years. I prioritize safety and love to be a hands on caretaker. My favorite activities with children include reading, arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, teaching dance (I'm a dance teacher!), and encouraging creativity through fun, engaging activities.
