I know how important it is to make sure your kids stick to their routine, and I’ll be able to do that! I’m pretty funny and great at entertaining kids. Kids usually gravitate towards me! My inner child is very much alive so whether they’re going to the park or staying home, I’ll make sure the kids are occupied with games, story time, or homework. I have no problem helping with homework! By the time you get home, the homework will be done and toys will be cleaned up…unless they’re still playing of course. During my undergrad I was part of the Barnard Babysitting Agency for at least 3 years (I can't remember if I joined my freshman year or sophomore year). During that time I had several consistent babysitting jobs. I mostly had toddlers, but on occasion I had young children around 8 years old. I also babysat twin teenagers for a short time. I have experience changing diapers, cooking food, heating up food in a household with no microwave, and some housekeeping (dishes, tidying up). I have experience taking kids to afterschool activities like karate, the park, and the children's museum. To show I go the extra mile, I don’t have piano training, but I once helped one of the children I was babysitting practice their piano lessons.
