I've always had a nuturing side from a young age from helping out my family with their kiddos and for many pets. I'm comfortable around all creatures- including farm animals and reptiles:) I have plenty experience caring for newborns to teens, and always encourage exploring their creativity, learning abilities, and talents in whatever it may be. I was a jazz/tap dancer at a younger age so I love dance. Plus hiking and cycling, DIY, gardening, music, cooking, theatre, painting, and organizing spaces. In my free time I volunteer at different organizations for youth and animals, and go to as many museums and road trips as I can. I have 18 years of childcare experience, ranging from date nights and private nannying to daycare and summer camps. Over the last four years I have began working in arts education as a teaching artist and youth theater director. I’m the 2nd oldest of 10 so I’ve been around young kids my entire life and am used to watching multiple kids at once. Due to being CPR and First Aid certified since I was 12, I’ve gained years of experience watching kids with varying disabilities and medical conditions, and am very familiar with working with children who are autistic, have epilepsy, or have life threatening food allergies. My go to activities are coloring, board games, going to the park, reading, movies, and arts and crafts. Outside of childcare, I am an actor, writer, and run an indie theater/production company. I’ve spent the pandemic studying trauma informed, consent based rehearsal spaces and mental health first aid. Both of these skills have been easily transferable to my childcare work. I have experience teaching at after school programs using the Montessori Method and have been working more as a teaching artist lately, doing theater and improv with kids. Cancellation policy: cancellation less than 24 hours my policy is full payment. If it’s within 72 hours, it’s half the agreed payment, and more than 72 there isn’t a fee. If you come home more than 15 minutes late with no communication I reserve the right to charge a late fee on top of that extra time. If you come home early I still charge for the full time booked since I had to block that time out in my calendar, unless we’ve agreed on it beforehand.

For any reason a booking gets cancelled or you come home early I still charge for the entire time. I also require cab fare back home once a booking ends after 11:00pm.
