I have experience watching all ages and multiple kids at one time! I currently live in Queens area but willing to travel. Please reach out for for questions
Hello, my name is Leesie! I’m currently a student attending St. John’s University pursuing my undergrad in health & human services. After college I plan to work with children with special needs - my inspiration for this is my dear brother Lincoln whom has autism. He’s my super star and I’ve helped my mom raise him up since I was 10 until leaving home to pursue my education. I hope to be able to help families out there that need assistance with their children from a wide range of ages; struggling work and home life which I know can be super stressful. My interests are out door activities, painting, sports and reading. I have no problem with cleaning after kids/ keeping things tidy also helping with homework if needed… however if you require me to cook I am working on my skills but I’d say I have a moderate ability to do so as a young adult and open to learning more through out this experience.
Hello! My name is Mica! I LOVE working with kids and families. I have a TON of experience and consider myself a natural caretaker with a very loving, engaged and nurturing approach. In my over 20 years of experience working as a childcare provider, I have worked for over 60 families and watched literally hundreds of children. I've worked with some families for over 10 years, watching as their family grew from one 2 year old to having four kids! From newborn to middle school, but with the majority of my experience being with newborns and infants to young elementary. My mother was a nursery school teacher and my siblings and I worked summers at their nursery school camp program, which is where I had a lot of parents asking me to babysit from there. I worked occasionally as a substitute assistant teacher at that same nursery school as well. I have a B.A. in Psychology and took classes on developmental psychology, studying attachment theory and so on. A little more about my background: I am the oldest child in my family and even amongst extended family and family friends children, so since I was a child myself I've been put in charge of watching the younger kids! But I started babysitting officially at 14. I also have young nieces and nephew who I've watched extensively as well :) I am half Japanese and grew up living in Japan at least every other summer. I speak a little Japanese and know a little Spanish as well and consider myself very culturally sensitive. I've also taken cross-cultural psychology and just have a real love of other cultures, I've worked for multiple families with immigrant parents and bilingual children :) Some personal interests are health and wellness/fitness/dance, healthy plant based cooking, volunteering, music! I sing and play a little guitar and love when the kids get excited about that as well! I drive and have my own car, I've taken children to and from every activity including doctors appointments. I've done overnights, full weekends and have traveled internationally with families. I can cook/prepare meals, help with homework where needed and do some light housekeeping as well if desired. I have experience with elderly relatives in the home with dementia, etc, and experience with pet and plant sitting. I am open and flexible! :) Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed! Love working with and helping families and look forward to working with yours! :) Be well and looking forward to chatting! :) -Mica
“Mica is the ultimate baby whisperer. She worked for us when my daughter was a newborn, helping us as first time parents immensely. Mica helped with diaper changes, feeding (which was an exceptional challenge for us in the early days), and sleep (which was another big challenge!). We continue to use Mica for occasional babysitting for the last 2.5 years and recommend her to other families in our neighborhood. My daughter does not take to new people easily but instantly fell in love with Mica and goes to her with ease when I need to step out. Mica is the best!”
Hi! My name is Leysha, and I’m currently taking a gap year while pursuing opportunities in childcare. As the oldest sibling in a single-parent household, I’ve gained lots of hands-on experience caring for children, helping with everyday routines, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m comfortable preparing simple meals, helping with light household tasks, school pick-ups, and keeping kids entertained and engaged. I also love animals and have experience caring for both cats and dogs. I’m patient, responsible, dependable, and have a flexible schedule. I’d love the opportunity to connect with your family and provide reliable, caring support whenever needed!
Hi! My name is Tetiana. I have about 4 years of experience working as a nanny and caring for children in a safe, patient, and responsible way. I enjoy helping children with daily routines, playtime, meals, reading, creative activities, and light learning activities. I am calm, attentive, reliable, and organized. Families can count on me to follow instructions, keep children safe, and create a positive and comfortable environment. I have experience with childcare during the day, evenings, and weekends. I am also comfortable helping with light household tasks related to the children, such as preparing simple meals, tidying play areas, and keeping routines on schedule. I truly enjoy working with kids and supporting families when they need extra help.
“Me and my husband extremely happy with the care and dedication our nanny provides. She is reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring, always creating a safe and positive environment. Her ability to engage, teach, and support development has made a noticeable difference. We fully trust her and highly recommend her to any family looking for exceptional childcare.”
