Hi there! I'm Karina, a recent NYU graduate offering child and pet care! As the eldest in my family I've been working with kids since I was little and love to work with the PreK-12 age range. I also work as an after school lead tutor with the NYPL during the school year and can help that same age range with any homework subject. I can work with children individually or with as many as 5 kids at a time. I speak fluent Spanish and intermediate French. My goal with children is to inspire a love of learning and sense of wonder in the world around them and to do so through fostering curiosity, empathy, and a mutual sense of respect. I have background and knowledge on proper positioning, feeding, tummy time, and developmental stages for infants. I have been a child care provider for families for 13 years and have been an Urbansitter for almost 10 years. I am CPR certified (infant CPR certified as well).
