Hi there! My name is Gigi. I'm originally from Seattle and currently live in Bushwick/Ridgewood. I am 37 and am a performance maker and CLOWN! I attended the University of San Francisco, where I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Media Studies. I have worked with kiddos as a babysitter, tutor, and dance teacher since 2008 and from 2[removed], I worked as a long term nanny and family assistant. I then stepped away to focus on my artistic pursuits! I was a dancer for a long while and have more recently been pursuing performance art and physical theatre by way of theatre clowning (took a show to Edinburgh Fringe this past August, yay!). But I have missed working with little ones! Play, discovery, and having a healthy relationship with The Flop (failure) is important to my work as a performance artist as well as when working with kiddos. I'm learning no other work is as enriching or fulfilling than nurturing and supporting a child's security, creativity, curiosity, and individuality! So much so that I am in process of finding a Master’s program in Early Childhood Education with hopes to teach within the intersection of the performing arts and childhood development. I am committed to supporting and creating a reliable safe haven and secure base for kiddos so they may thrive, play, and learn with confidence. I myself have learned a lot and been inspired by my own inner-child healing and children’s advocacy self-study. In my own personal life, a lot of my time and energy is spent using the arts as a healing modality, as well as working through generational trauma and dysfunctional family patterns and behaviors. I find that this work has taught me to become a more empathetic, nurturing, and patient caregiver and has greatly impacted how I relate to children in particular. I am incredibly careful and intentional with my time spent around kids and hope to provide only the warmest, most supportive, and gently engaging environment. Thank you so much for your consideration and time and I look forward to supporting your family any way I can :o)
I'm an experienced child caretaker who has mainly worked with younger school aged kids as well as high schoolers. I've worked in after school programs as well as at an overnight summer camp as a counselor. My strengths are in patience, conflict management and adaptability. I also have experience caring for cats and dogs of various ages and sizes.
Hi! My name is Margot and I'm currently a School Counseling Ed.M. student at Teachers College, Columbia University. I am offering child care, pet care, and household services. I love working with children and have experience as a babysitter, elementary school literacy tutor, camp counselor for special needs children, and recreation assistant at a children's hospital. In all of these roles, I have used my creativity, empathy, and patience to engage children in play and learning, while maintaining a safe environment. I have babysat for both neurotypical and neurodivergent kids, providing flexible care depending on their needs and developmental levels. I am also happy to assist with homework, projects, and other assignments. I love crafts, music, science experiments, and anything that involves being imaginative and having fun. I also can help with household chores and errands, and I am happy to work with families with pets, as I am a big animal lover!
Hi, I’m Emma! I’m currently nannying part time! I worked in a multilingual preschool for 2 years where I lead group activities and focused on social emotional development. Hi! My name is Kelly, I’m 19 years old, and I’m currently working as both a caregiver for seniors and a babysitter for two toddlers. I absolutely love working with children — it brings me so much joy! I have 5–8 years of childcare experience with kids of different ages, and 2 years of experience in senior care. I’m patient, responsible, and truly enjoy helping families feel supported and at ease. I can help with: • Engaging and educational playtime • Meal prep and feeding • Light cleaning and laundry • Pick-up and drop-off from school or activities • Outdoor activities and creative learning • Maintaining a safe and happy environment I’m currently looking for a nanny position, part-time or full-time. If you’re looking for someone loving, dependable, and experienced to care for your little ones — I’d be so happy to connect! 💛 📩 Feel free to message me for more details or to chat about your family’s needs.
