I have been familiar with childcare since I was 13 years old! I have been caring for my siblings after school, neighborhood kids, and also infants in my family. I know people don’t typically take familial gigs seriously, but these were paid. In these babysitting jobs, I’d be responsible for bathing, doing homework, entertaining, cooking, and putting the child to sleep. I’d also do cleanly duties around the house to keep it tidy for the parents to come home. I also do have experience in working in a children’s day camp. In the day camp, I was responsible for teaching the children, caring for their safety, taking them on field trips, and taking care of their dietary needs.
