Hi! I'd be happy to be your occasional date-night sitter! I've been babysitting for 14 yrs, and I'm very friendly, fun, trustworthy, and dependable. Prior to babysitting I was a flight attendant for 28 yrs, and each yr I had 2 days of emergency requalification, including CPR/First Aid. I enjoy playing with kids indoors and out, helping them to learn, and reading to them. I've been the 1st-time non-family sitter for most of the families I've worked for, and children feel comfortable with me really quickly. I work on call, weekday and weekend evenings from 5 pm - 2 am, 20/hr for one child and $25/hr for two children, with a 4 hr min. I take cash or check only. Short notice jobs are welcome; as long as I haven't already made plans I may be available within 3-4 hrs. I have twenty-eight 5-star reviews from two other babysitting sites, as well as a great written reference from parents whose son I took care of from 1 - 4.5 yrs-old before they moved to Europe, and I still work for them every Summer when they return to this area; I'd be happy to send you those reviews and reference. Hola! I enjoy helping others and love working with the littles, after all they are our future! I have my CDA (child development associate) as well as CPR First Aid, and other certifications needed to work in the professional childcare setting. I taught early childhood for 8 years before obtaining a science degree. I enjoy learning about other cultures and their languages; fun fact I know 6 languages. I have found being able to teach younger children different languages/cultures to be both beneficial and fun! Also, I have other skills I can share with your young ones such as tutoring needs or homework help, dancing, safe cooking skills modified to the age, and perhaps more.
