Hi! I’m Odessa, a recent BFA Fine Arts graduate from Montclair State University, and I offer experienced, creative, and dependable childcare and pet care. I’m a Teaching Artist, who’s worked with children since 2021 across a wide range of ages. I’m currently a full-time K–3 tutor, supporting students with daily learning with age-appropriate activities. I’ve also worked as a full-time Co-Lead Preschool Teacher with toddlers and preschoolers, as well as a Lead Art Instructor and Art Assistant with children ages 3–17 through summer programs. These experiences have taught me how to adapt my approach to different ages, personalities, learning styles, and energy levels. I especially enjoy keeping children engaged through creative activities like painting, drawing, crafts, storytelling, educational games, and imaginative play. I’m also happy to help with homework, prepare simple meals, support bedtime routines, and create a structured but fun environment. I value patience, clear communication, and making sure children feel comfortable, heard, and encouraged. My pet-care experience dates back to 2024, including mostly dog walking and recently house sitting. I’m comfortable handling feeding, walks 1–2 times daily, playtime, basic routines, and medication dispensing when instructions are provided. I’m comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs and understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I am unfortunately allergic to cats, so I’m unable to provide cat care. I’m currently available for part-time babysitting and dog sitting and would be happy to build a trusting relationship with your family. I may be new to UrbanSitter reviews, but I bring several years of hands-on childcare experience, teaching experience, and a genuine love for working with children and animals. Whether your family needs an afternoon babysitter, homework help, a creative playmate, or reliable dog care, I’d love the opportunity to help
“Gabby was honestly so good with my kids. My toddler, she can take a little while to warm up to new people, but Gabby was really patient with her and made her feel comfortable pretty quickly. My 5 year old had so much fun with her and he was still talking about her after she left lol. She kept me updated, handled both of them really well, and I never felt like I had to worry while I was away. Would definitely have her back!”
Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm a first year graduate student at Penn studying public health. I am offering child care for all ages and household services. I have babysat for infants and children ages 3-6 since I was 20 and have also gained experience with a wide age range of children through opportunities with my church as a Sunday school teacher, nursery volunteer, and elementary school volunteer. I've also had paid experience caring for groups of 5-10 children with another sitter (also through church). I'm also CPR certified and have received several trainings on basic first aid, Heimlich, and CPR. I don't have a car in Philly but do have a driver's license and am also comfortable taking transit or walking with kids as needed. I've also been responsible in the past for leading games, crafts, and giving homework help. I also love getting active with kids and spending time outdoors. I'm also more than happy to provide help with household tasks and can cook, clean, do laundry, and run errands. I'm also comfortable with any pets and have experience caring for both cats and dogs.

I have ten years of experience working as a childcare provider and educator. I have worked as a preschool teacher at a montessori school, full time nanny, special needs caretaker, dance teacher, personal assistant, dog sitter, camp counselor, and tutor. I have experience working with infants through adults. My approach as a nanny is to nurture each child’s personal development, foster creativity and learning, and most importantly to ensure health and safety. I genuinely love working with children and I do my best to meet each family’s individual needs.
