"Amina came and helped us out when our babysitter canceled last minute. She was great with our kids. Even our 11 month old son who has stranger anxiety warmed up to her."

Hello! I am currently a fourth year medical student in San Antonio. I have 7+ years of babysitting experience. I also led science activities for elementary school aged students for 3 years and studied child development. I love taking care of kids. I am very patient, detail-oriented, and I would like to think fun! I also have dog-sit and cat-sit for 7 years now and used to work in a veterinary emergency room for 2 years. I used to have two cats myself and now I have one dog. I also am CPR certified.
From a young age, I knew I had a heart for care. My journey into caregiving began in early childhood education, where I worked with infants and toddlers, nurturing their development during their most formative years. I quickly discovered a deep sense of purpose in creating safe, warm environments that supported not only physical care but emotional connection as well. As my experience grew, I was drawn to working with children on the autism spectrum. I took specialized training to better understand their unique needs and communication styles, and I found joy in celebrating every small milestone—whether it was a new word, a smile, or a moment of connection. My approach has always been patient, compassionate, and grounded in building trust. Alongside my work in childcare, I also found myself gravitating toward seniors care. Supporting elderly individuals—especially those facing isolation, dementia, or limited mobility—gave me the chance to offer dignity, companionship, and meaningful daily interactions. I’ve learned that caregiving at both ends of life’s spectrum requires many of the same values: empathy, patience, respect, and a willingness to truly listen. With years of hands-on experience across generations, I’ve come to appreciate the deep rewards of caregiving. Each person—whether a baby, a child with autism, or a senior—deserves to feel seen, safe, and valued. And for me, being able to provide that care is more than a job; it’s a calling.
Hi! My name is Sofia, I’m 19, and I’m a freshman at NVC. I’m currently working on my transfer to UTSA as a music major :) The services I offer are child care (preferably above the age of 5) and pet care. I prefer cats but I love dogs as well! I’ve been babysitting and pet sitting for as long as I can remember. I used to be acquainted with a dog breeder who paid me to supervise his puppies while he was on business trips, from when I was 8-13. When I was 12-17, I watched over my mother’s friend’s children (6 and 10) while they had girl time. My responsibilities have included feeding them, supervising them, helping with the occasional homework, and crafts. I can clean, cook simple meals, and run errands with appropriate compensation. I truly enjoy working with children and helping them learn, grow, and explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. I’m 23 years old and have six years of experience working with kids, which has helped me develop strong patience, creativity, and communication skills. I love spending quality time with my family, and I bring that same warmth and positive energy into my caregiving. I’m also an animal lover and feel comfortable around pets, which helps create a caring and welcoming atmosphere in any home. I recently moved to Texas from California, where I worked in a toddler classroom at a Spanish immersion Montessori school. That experience strengthened my knowledge of child development and creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play.
Hello! My name is Addie! I am currently attending UTSA and working on my bachelor's degree in psychology. I’m going on my 4th year of working with kids. I have experience in babysitting, day summer camps, and overnight camps. I am patient, creative, and driven. My passion is working with kids! I love teaching and learning from kids and plan on pursuing this as a social worker. Not only am I looking to forward to creating a strong bond with children but a bond with the parents too. I am here to offer an extra supporting hand whether that is looking over your kiddos or helping cook, clean, run errands, etc.
