Caring for children has always been a meaningful part of my life. I began by helping raise my sister, who is 13 years younger than me, and over the years I’ve cared for cousins, friends’ children, and others in my community. I started babysitting in high school and continued for several years, both professionally and informally, developing experience with children of all ages—from infants to pre-teens (up to 12 years old).
