Originally from Brazil, I have been living in the US for eight years and worked as an Au pair and nanny during this time. I’m comfortable with the kids routine, playdate, meal prep, bath and bed time. I am very flexible and would consider myself easygoing and organized. I have 25 plus years of experience caring/teaching children and managing a home. Besides raising three children of my own, I have also taught swimming lessons for 20 summers, substitute taught, homeschooled, cared for twins, managed diabetes, am CPR/AED/First Aid certified, Newborn Care Specialist cert, Birth and Postpartum Doula certs, held live-in and live-out positions in the MD, VA, DC area, and have excellent references. I enjoy taking children on fun outings to the zoo, library, parks, museums, live music, puppet shows, feed the ducks, etc. I am also very active and play or have played most sports. In addition to having fun with the children, I am very educational minded and I teach them at all stages of development--sitting, walking, talking, ABC's, numbers, colors, shapes, reading, manners, respect, thankfulness, kindness, sharing, etc. Kids love me and I love them!
