What activities would you like to do with your host children? Depending on the ages and the climate, I would do the following activities with the children: • 0 - 6 months: Early stimulation activities with water, sand, tempera and clay. Roll balls with sound, encourage crawling, rhythm with toys, feeding support and nursery rhymes. • 1 - 2 years: Activities that help them develop their early stimulation. Play with water balloons, threading games, fishing afternoon, sandbox, games with music, games with tempera paint and rope toys. • 2 - 5 years: Dance activities to the rhythm of music, building blocks, drawing pictures with different paintings, going up and down steps, drawing, painting silhouettes, taking them to the park, teaching them my mother tongue and helping them are their language.

I am a (current) mental health therapist and experienced nanny looking for time-limited gigs (like vacations) or evening & weekend opportunities, including nannying/babysitting, house sitting, household management, travel nannying, pet sitting or other related tasks. I was a long-term nanny for families in the Seattle area from 2[removed] and 2018-2022. I also have experience with household management and organization/systems implementation to help households run smoothly, as well as ample experience with pet sitting. I have a 10 year old doodle myself who is the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet! I have also nannied for 3 kids for a week while their parents went on vacation, and we had a blast! I am a mental health therapist by day, with afternoons/evenings and weekends available. To be transparent, my long-distance partner and I are looking to relocate in the next year, and we want to save some extra funds to ease the move & extend time off together. I could add more therapy clients, however, I quite enjoy nannying (and other related jobs) and it would be a lovely change of pace. If you’re looking for a long-term person, I won’t be the best fit. I have always enjoyed working with children. After finishing my degree in Psychology in 2021, I had the opportunity to travel to Brazil to work with the United Nations on one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education) for 2 months, where I taught Spanish and organized educational activities for children. My experience in childcare has been truly vocational and inspiring for me. I cared for a boy for six months, from 1. 5 years old until he turned 2. Then, I took care of a second child from 9 months until he was 2. 5 years old. Currently, I am taking care of a little girl since she was 4 months and she is now 2 years old! I enjoy helping children with their emotional growth and daily routines, while fostering a safe environment where they can explore and play.
