I have about 5 years of childcare experience with children ranging from 5 months to 12 years old. I’ve worked as a babysitter/nanny and in a daycare setting, caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. I enjoy doing crafts, sensory activities, and outdoor activities with children, while also helping with meals and daily routines. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish and can communicate comfortably with children and families in either language. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, and have also completed a Medical Assistant program, giving me additional training in safety and caregiving.

Hello, I’m Rebekah 😊 I have almost 10 years of experience working with children in various settings. When I was in high school I taught dance to 3-10 year olds and had a consistent babysitting job. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. I have worked in several formal and informal educational settings (day camps/overnight camps/after school programs/childcare centers). A couple of years ago I moved to Seattle and am now working full time as an administrative assistant. I’m looking for an occasional - to part time babysitting position. Some of my favorite movements working with kids include making crafts, exploring nature, fun science experiments and playing card games. I am currently only certified for Adult CPR in addition to general first aid. I have received Infant child CPR certifications in the past. After graduating college I received my preliminary teaching license. However, at the time I went to work in outdoor education settings. Due to this, my teaching license expired around 3 years ago. I have experience working with kids in Montessori settings. Also, I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats. Percy and Hercules are my cats and I am the main sitter for my sister’s two dogs.

I am a caregiver by nature. Beyond being a parent, I have also provided afterschool care and I teach at a preschool part time. I love engaging kids in playful activities and going on adventures. I love crafts and games. I host kids in my outdoor play area as well. I hope to serve as many people as I can. I think it is imperative that kids get a chance to play with others in order to learn crucial skills for their future. I would like the opportunity to share time exploring and creating fun memories while learning new skills with your child. Hi there! I am the mom of 2 high school kids. I have a Masters in Secondary Education, and during the school year, I run my own math tutoring business, from elementary to high school students. I have 8 years experience as an art and science teacher. I am working part-time as a nanny for infants and small children. I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers. I am an active and attentive caregiver: I sing to, read to, play with, teach, and comfort the infants/kids I nanny. I participated with my own kids in coop preschool. I still incorporate what I learned in preschool into my tutoring and nanny work: encouraging positive behavior, calmly setting limits, asking children questions, and really listening to children. I enjoy being around kids. I am a swimmer, outdoor enthusiast (hiking, biking and bird watching), and enjoy spending time with my family outdoors.

I've been the neighborhood babysitter and a part time nanny most of my life. I have the most experience with toddlers through age six, but I've also worked with infants and tween twins.
