Tessa 2 reviews
Gilbert
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Chandler Heights, AZ

Hi guys, my name is Tessa, I am 32 years old. I currently work for a company called Anodyne and I am a homemaker (I help elderly people with light cleaning around the house, grocery shop for them, pick up prescriptions, etc). I currently am taking classes at MCC to get into med school to become an anesthesiologist assistant. During the summer while taking a break, I am trying to work as much as possible to pay for my classes. Just a little background, two years ago, I quit my job to watch my niece full-time. Now that she’s old enough, she is in daycare and I am back in the workforce. It was a blessing that I got to watch my niece grow from infant to toddler and see her hit so many milestones. I would love to work with a family or families and help out with their children in any way I possibly could. I also have babysat many kids/had many babysitting gigs throughout my lifetime. I genuinely enjoy babysitting and hope to get to work with you!

Tessa has a strong background in professionalism, communication, and helping others. She has a strong work ethic, is caring and compassionate and has worked well with other children in the past. She has helped watch many of the children from our community and is continually requested through recommendations of others. She takes her time helping children learn and plays a major role in their growth and develop as well as building strong bonds with the children she encounters. She would be a perfect fit for anyone looking for a passionate, professional, and reliable baby sitter.

Queen Creek
$20 per hour for 1 child

I am a kind, patient, and dependable caregiver who truly enjoys working with children and being a positive part of their daily lives. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. I am CPR, AED, and First Aid certified, and I am comfortable with school drop-offs and pick-ups, meal prep, running errands, and taking children to parks and activities. I take pride in being attentive, trustworthy, and caring, and I always treat children with patience, respect, and genuine kindness. I am also amazing with pets, and being able to run errands and feed as well for them!

I highly recommend Angelina for any nanny or babysitting position. I’ve hired her multiple times to babysit, and she has always been reliable, responsible, and great with kids. She’s patient, attentive, and makes sure children stay safe while also keeping them entertained and comfortable. She communicates well, follows instructions, and handles situations calmly. Any family would be lucky to have her.

James Queen Creek
$25 per hour for 1 child

With over a decade of experience working with children, I bring both passion and professionalism to every role I take on. For more than 10 years, I served as a Director in after-school programs, creating safe, engaging, and educational environments where kids could learn, grow, and thrive. Alongside that, I ran a successful girls 4th 1 11th grade youth basketball program for the same amount of time, building not only athletic skills but also confidence, teamwork, and positive life values in hundreds of children. I’m energetic, reliable, and committed to helping kids feel supported, encouraged, and inspired every day. My approach combines structure and fun, ensuring children are not only cared for but truly enjoy their time in my care.

Kenzi Queen Creek
$18 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Kenzi and I’m offering childcare and pet care services. I’m an upbeat and attentive childcare provider with 11 years of paid experience caring for infants, toddlers, and older children. I’m a creative planner with a gift for keeping kids engaged long-term with fun and educational activities. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school and other activities, doing laundry, making meals and snacks, picking up after playtime, and helping with homework after school. For infants, my responsibilities have included feeding, sleep training, tummy time, and working towards reaching developmental milestones. I’ve received my certification in adult and infant CPR and First Aid. While working as a Montessori preschool teacher in Utah, I finished all child care trainings given by the Utah Department of Health and continue to attend seminars and earn certifications here in Arizona. I love animals! I have experience caring for snakes, bunnies, cats/kittens, dogs/puppies, chickens, guinea pigs, turtles, and tortoises! I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, playing, and petting all living creatures. I have experience caring for diabetic and sick cats and am confident in administering any medicine orally or intravenously. I prefer not to care for untrained big dogs, but I’m happy to help if they are actively in training!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
