$18 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Kali! I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development and over 14 years of experience caring for children of all ages—from newborns to pre-teens. My background includes working as a classroom teacher (K–3), tutor, nanny, preschool caregiver, and even a swim instructor and youth volleyball coach. dedicated childcare professional with over 14 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. With a strong educational background and a wide range of hands-on experience, I’m committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for every child I care for. Families can count on me for not only safe and reliable care (I’m Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certified), but also for creating fun, engaging, and developmentally supportive experiences. My journey began with babysitting and nannying and has grown into a lifelong passion for helping children learn, explore, and thrive at every stage of development. Outside of childcare, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and cheering on my hometown Sun Devils. I look forward to bringing my experience, energy, and heart for kids to your family!

Kali was truly one of the best things that ever happened to our family. With four kids—ages six, four, two, and a newborn—you can imagine the energy in our house, but Kali balanced it all with such love, patience, and joy. She connected with each of our kids in a special way, which meant the world to us as parents. She helped our six-year-old with homework and reading, always finding ways to make learning fun and exciting. With our curious four-year-old, she came up with endless games and activities that kept him laughing and engaged. Our busy two-year-old adored her playful spirit and thrived under her gentle guidance and routines. And with our newborn, Kali was so nurturing and attentive—whether it was rocking her to sleep, keeping her on schedule, or just showering her with love. Not only did she care for our children, she cared for our whole family. Kali brought calm to the chaos, and her presence filled our home with warmth and joy. We would have done anything to keep her as our nanny forever, but sadly, a move across the state made that impossible. Even so, Kali will forever be part of our family, and any family lucky enough to have her will understand just how special she is!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
