Roseellen 2 reviews
Tucson
$18 per hour for 1 child

Hi families! I’m Roseellen. I’ve always loved working with kids — from growing up as the oldest in a big family to coaching youth soccer and caregiving for families in my community. I love to keep little ones active, creative, and confident, whether we’re playing outside, doing crafts, baking treats, or reading together. I’m also EMT and CPR certified, so you can feel comfortable knowing safety comes first. I’d be excited to be a positive, dependable part of your family’s routine!

Growing up as the eldest of eight siblings in a blended family, she has developed an exceptional sense of responsibility, patience, and emotional intelligence. Her experience spans caring for children across a wide age range—from infants to school-aged kids—within a dynamic household that includes biological, step-, and half-siblings. She’s consistently demonstrated maturity, adaptability, and a natural ability to connect with children. Whether helping with daily routines, managing group activities, or offering one-on-one attention, she brings a calm, confident presence that kids respond to. Her upbringing has given her firsthand experience in multitasking, conflict resolution, and creating a nurturing environment in busy, high-energy settings. What stands out most is her intuitive understanding of children's needs and her proactive approach to caregiving. She doesn’t just supervise—she engages, supports, and encourages growth through play, conversation, and consistency. Families looking for someone with real-world experience and a genuine love for working with children will find her to be a reliable and thoughtful caregiver.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
