I’ve been doing volunteer work with the children’s ministry and youth group at my church for 6 years. I also worked at a pediatric surgery center for a little over year. And I do occasional babysitting jobs. I also started volunteering with a nonprofit called Youth Inspiration Nation Inc. last year so I’m constantly working with kids. During the pandemic, I adapted to meet new challenges by supervising virtual learning, ensuring kids stayed on track academically while still having fun. Currently, I work in an after-school program with 6th to 8th graders, where I lead both an enrichment class focused on art projects and an active class that involves outdoor games and sports.
