I am currently studying child and adolescent development and I have over 3 years of experience working with children professionally. My favorite thing about working with kids is the mutual learning that occurs! I love to find ways to connect through activities based on a child’s interest, whether it be baking, arts and crafts, enjoying nature or physical activity, i love to be involved! I think kids deserve to be heard, and to make decisions for themselves with guided options to choose from. I think freedom of expression and identity is incredibly essential to a young child or adolescence development and I am a number one fan of children taking the lead, and showing us how to show up better to suit their needs and talents as well! Important things to note: -I am allergic to pets, both cats and dogs so cannot work inside of homes with animals -I do not have a car but I have a drivers license and a sparkling clean driving record, and still drive often! -I am CPR and first aid certified -I am a full time student studying sociology and child and adolescent development and completing a social work and human services certification

I’m currently a freshman in college. I have been working for care.com for the past 6 months and I heard a lot of good reviews about urban sitter so I want to give it a try. I’m the second oldest and I have helped take care of all my younger siblings while my parents were at work as well. I know how to cook, make baby bottles, change diapers, burp, and entertain children. I have great patience. I’ve always wanted to be in the medical field. specifically for a neonatologist or pediatrician.
