Hello! My name is Lindsey and I am a 19 year old student at American Career College, studying to be a surgical technician. I love supporting families by providing safe and reliable care for children. Since I started working in high school, I have always gravitated towards jobs working with kids, because their infectious energy brings me joy and makes me feel fulfilled. I have worked as a lead tennis coach, working with kids ages 4-17, as well as babysitting elementary school kids in my hometown neighborhood for about 5 years! I’m the oldest of seven, so caregiving has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a single-parent home, I naturally stepped in to help my mom with everything from homework and bedtime routines to meals and keeping the house running. Those early years taught me how to be patient, responsible, and calm under pressure, and they’re a huge reason why I’m so comfortable working with kids today. Outside of my own family, I’ve spent time caring for children in my community and during college. I worked at youth camps and served as a counselor, leading activities, helping kids build friendships, and supporting them through the ups and downs of being young. I also worked with the Boys and Girls Club, mentoring kids both academically and socially. Those experiences helped me develop my own style of caregiving — warm, creative, and centered around helping each child feel seen and capable. I recently graduated from college, and my education helped strengthen my communication and leadership skills. I love finding ways to connect with kids individually, whether that’s through reading together, exploring their interests, or creating simple learning moments in everyday tasks. As a caregiver, I’m dependable, gentle, and adaptable. I don’t come in just to supervise; I like to really learn each child’s personality, what comforts them, what excites them, and how to support their growth. I’m also great with busy households and don’t mind pitching in with things like meal prep, light cleaning, organizing, homework help, errands, or pet care. I’ve been doing those things my whole life. I have over 7 years of experience caring for children from infancy through age 15, and I’ve had the privilege of nannying for multiple families with diverse needs and personalities. I’m open to both live-in and full-time roles depending on the family’s needs. More than anything, I care about building trust, creating a calm and happy environment, and making life a little easier for the families I work with.

Hi there! My name is Kayley and I recently graduated from San Francisco State University with a Major in Communications and a Minor in Africana Studies. During that time I took some Child Development courses and discovered how much there is to learn from kids. I have experience working with kids at the Boys and Girls Club in San Francisco and also helping out my aunts with all my little cousins. I love to babysit not only because it is empowering, and teaches me to play and be patient, but also because I get to help children, show them safe ways to have fun and express themselves, and ultimately help create a community filled with healthy connections. Something about me is that I love to sing, read, design, dance, and act! I have a passion for film and love to entertain! I am also interested in youth organizing and social justice.
