Growing up in a large, age-diverse family gave me the unique opportunity to help care for children from a very young age. In addition to my younger siblings, I became an aunt at 10 years old and now have seven nieces and nephews whom I absolutely adore. I’ve proudly helped care for them at various stages of their lives. These days, I'm often helping out with my two grade school nephews, who live in the city as well; this includes babysitting, occasional school pickups, organizing activities, outings, cooking, and helping around the house. Hello everyone, my name is Natalie! Originally from Southern California, I moved to San Francisco three years ago. I have been working with children in a professional setting for 4 years. I have taught children in a preschool setting, ages 2 to 6. Supporting them with schoolwork, Spanish lessons, motor skills, nap time, and potty training. Before joining the preschool, I worked as a social-emotional coach at a public elementary school in Chino Hills, where I supported first-grade students. I love working with children and bring a lot of patience to their learning journey. Kids are constantly navigating a wide range of emotions, still discovering why and how they feel the way they do — and I'm here to offer the social and emotional support they need along the way. There's so much for young children to learn, and finding the right person to guide them through the world — and their own inner world — can make all the difference. Another hobby of mine is coloring and drawing. Last year, I had a student who would ask me to draw things for her so she could practice cutting them out afterward.
