Hi, I’m Cristina! I have over six years of experience caring for children from 10 months to 14 years old. I love babysitting because I enjoy doing fun projects with kids and taking them to the park. My interest in childcare really grew from helping take care of my little cousin with Down syndrome, which taught me a lot about patience and how rewarding it is to care for children. During this time, I assisted with safe transfers using a wheelchair and ceiling lift, supported feeding (including feeding tube assistance), administered medications, and maintained hygiene and comfort. I also focused on emotional well-being by engaging him in activities like music and reading, and used communication tools to better understand and respond to his needs. I also have experience in senior care, supporting a client with dementia and diabetes with daily routines, medication and insulin administration, meal preparation, and companionship.
