Hi my name is Sydney and I am currently looking for work over the summer that could potentially move into the Fall. I currently work at an elementary school as a literacy tutor and have lots of experience working with kids. On the weekend I coach soccer for kids ages 3-7 and have currently been working with a family in the evenings for the past year and a half (ages 5 & 2.5). Additionally, I have experience looking after pets, specifically cats and dogs and supporting families with other household tasks. Preschool Teacher with a Master's degree in Psychology seeking to return to nannying. CPR and First-Aid certified. I am currently a preschool teacher in the East Bay M-F until 5:45pm so I'm open to after school babysitting or transitioning jobs for the right fit. I have always been drawn to caring for children and families. My experience began over 15 years ago as a summer camp counselor (I have never met a craft I didn't excel at), babysitter, nanny, and now as a newborn care specialist/ postpartum doula. I love joining children in their world of play and making it as fun and engaging as possible. Although my specific certifications and professional experience are primarily focused on newborns and infants, I have cared for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens.
