Hi there, my name is Madeline! I was born and raised down the coast in Santa Cruz. I’m very passionate about working with young children and providing support to families. I’m currently obtaining my doula certification and planning to attend nursing school to become a midwife as working with infants and children brings me a level of joy and fulfillment that nothing else does!
I have cared for children ages 5 months-10 years old and adore the full spectrum of child development, but I especially love caring for infants and toddlers. I would absolutely love to provide my skills gained over 9 years of experience nannying/babysitting to your family!
I’m nurturing, warm, kind, caring, grounded, playful, compassionate, attuned, receptive, joyful, reliable, patient, communicative, and unconditionally loving. I have experience bottle feeding, contact napping, sleep training, diaper changing, potty training, learning to walk/crawl, starting solids, formula prepping, meal prepping, baby wearing, tummy time, supporting emotional regulation, teaching swim lessons, light housekeeping, and supporting children’s unique developmental skills.
I love to bring children out into nature to explore and connect with themselves and the natural world around them. I believe in the importance of guiding children to explore their intrinsic relationship with nature and learn about themselves through this interconnection. I don’t use screens or allow children to use screens while I provide care unless necessary so they have my full presence and feel seen, heard, and valued.
I’ve provided in home care while parents work from home if that is of interest too. I’m excited to connect with you and support your beautiful family!
