Hello parents and families! I am a graduate of Howard University and a Tech professional in the Chicago / Gold Coast area. I am interested in establishing relationships with families here looking for weekend/weeknight/ date night/ and occasional sitting jobs. I would be interested in both consistent work or one-time sitting jobs. I've been babysitting and nannying for over 20 years with children of all ages (starting as early as 2 months spanning up to 14 years) including special needs children, and volunteered at my community church in the pre-k/first grade department. I am the oldest of four children and I'm 9 years apart from the youngest, so I am very familiar with large family dynamics and busy households. I also grew up with two dogs so my house was always bustling with energy. I love children, and I'm open to assisting in family activities as well (errands, outings, etc.). I also have experience housesitting and pet-sitting for families on vacation. I'm willing to assist with any cooking, cleaning, and school-related tasks. I have a pretty open availability evening and weekends, and can be flexible if given enough notice. Feel free to ask me any questions regarding past/current experience and availability!

My name is Manuela, and I am a physical therapist graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana in Bogotá, Colombia. With CPR certification and emergency response training, I bring a medical professional's level of care and attentiveness to each child in my care. With extensive experience supporting families across the Bay Area, I am now proud to call Carmel Valley home, having recently settled here with my fiancé, who grew up right here in Carmel Valley. Patient, responsible, and deeply caring, I specialize in infant and toddler care and take pride in being a caregiver that families can truly rely on.

Welcome to your child's home away from home! With over 10 years of childcare experience, I provide high-quality, home-based care for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. My goal is to give parents complete peace of mind while creating a place where children feel comfortable, valued, and excited to spend their day. My home is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within walking distance of several parks, the public library, kid-friendly restaurants and shopping, and a skate park, giving children plenty of opportunities for outdoor play, exploration, and age-appropriate activities. Whether we're reading books, creating crafts, playing outside, or enjoying home-cooked meals together, every day is designed to be active, enriching, and fun. I specialize in flexible care, including overnights, weekends, and last-minute bookings. My home is smoke-free, alcohol-free, clean, and child-friendly, and I strive to provide the consistency and warmth of a true "home away from home." Parents receive regular updates, photos, and communication throughout the day so they can feel confident and connected while their children are in my care. I believe every family deserves dependable, compassionate childcare built on trust, communication, and genuine care.

For those who are in need of a professional, reliable, honest, patient and responsible babysitter, I recommend Zeporia. Always on time and energized each day for all task to be completed. Zeporia has different activities for all ages. I highly recommend her for the job.

Hello! I am an aspiring elementary teacher, and am currently substitute teaching Mondays- Fridays. I am primarily looking for caregiving jobs that coincide with typical school break schedules (i.e full time gig in the summer, winter break, spring break, etc). I love kids, and am great with pets as well. I also enjoy cooking as my main passion/ hobby outside of education, so I am more than capable of helping with meals/ meal prep. Please reach out if my availability/ skill set aligns with your family’s needs!

A few things about me! My name is Jessica Garcia. I have two beautiful daughters.🥰 I graduated from San Francisco State University. I’ve been with UrbanSitter for a bit over 6 years. I LOVE taking care of children and I’m really good at it :) It comes naturally!

Jessica is amazing!! We hired her on a trip to SD and she jumped right in and took amazing care of our 14 month old! Super prompt, caring, responsible. Fed him, took him to the park, played with him, and made me feel so comfortable leaving him with a new person. Wish she lived in my area so I could have her with my kiddos more often.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
