Hello families! I love working with children and am looking for babysitting opportunities with kids of any age! I enjoy spending time with kids doing crafts, reading stories at bedtime, and keeping them happy and safe. Some of my hobbies include photography, singing, knitting, and yoga. I am a graduate of San Francisco State University, where I studied psychology with an emphasis on child development. I have been babysitting since high school and have worked with many local families with kids ages 0-13. I was a tutor for a year at an after school program where I facilitated activities and helped the children with their homework. After graduating college I worked for a year and a half at a group home for kids (ages 6 to 18) who struggled with regulating themselves during stress. Let's discuss expectations and negotiate. EARLY/LATE RETURNS: This work is my main source of income. Because I plan my time and budget around the hours booked, I ask to be paid for the entire booking even if you come home early. I'm usually flexible on the end time of a booking, but text/call if you'll be late, especially if we have not discussed flexibility beforehand. I occasionally book jobs back-to-back with just enough time for travel in between, and your late return can have an unfortunate impact on my schedule. CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, I expect 50% of the original booking amount.
