Dear family : Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I'm Jenny (Yanli), a college student at UC Berkeley currently. It's the 10-year babysitting experience that taught me self-parenting and to stay curious about everything. It's fun to explore new things and keep learning. From this mindset, my journey started at Berkeley Adult School for basic English in 2016 as an au pair, and then Berkeley City College for psychology& cognitive science from 2[removed](part-time), and now at UC Berkeley for Philosophy of Mind (2024-2026). While I'm in school, it's the love from the kids and parents that inspires me to move forward and keep learning. Now, I come back to play with kids since I miss the nature of kids and have extra time in my last semester in 2026 spring. Having taught kids art, acrylic painting, and DIY paper craft through this 10-year journey, I'm eager to keep exploring the creativity kids naturally have. I used to be an au Pair in 2016-2017 after I got training in New Jersey for one week about babysitting, as well as a CPR certificate and a first aid certificate from the American Red Cross. Regarding personality and lifestyle, I'm a big fan of yoga, love art so much. I'd love to go to nature with kids, do yoga together, and visit museums. Happy to share what I'd like to do with kids: 1. It's my great pleasure to teach yoga to kids if kids are interested in it. ( I'm a certified 200-hour yoga instructor from Yoga Alliance) 2. Paper craft, including origami paper craft and DIY holiday cards. 3. Acrylic painting with kids. ( I'm a self-taught acrylic painter who sells my artwork in Berkeley) 4. Read and teach art education, for instance, warm color, cold color, and color wheels. ( I self-taught to be a UX designer) 5. Teach Mandarin and Chinese songs. Hi, my name is Janneth I am easy going, intuitive, and responsible. I am also a mom to a smart and curious 10 year old. I have a lot of experience working with newborns, toddlers, and teenagers. In my day to day life I wear many hats mom, wife, manager, big sister, and care taker to many students. I work in higher ed and have been working specifically in student services for the past 5 years. I have experience working with students from diverse racial and socio-economic backgrounds. Before that, I spent 2 years teaching English to children aged 5-10. I started babysitting at a young age for my family and neighbors and have been taking care of children ever since. After having my son, I took a break from work to focus on his care, but now that he is older and more independent, I am able to return to babysitting and work with other families.

I graduated with a degree in design, which has fueled my creativity and nurtured my ability to engage children in imaginative and enriching activities. Hi, I’m Lolis!  I am open to all work, from babysitting to full-time nanny positions. While I am new to Urbansitter, I am not new to caregiving! I have over seven years of experience. I love children and care for them as if they were my own. I have immense respect for the fact that you are entrusting me with your child, and I do not take it for granted.
