Hello parents and families! I am a graduate of Howard University and a Tech professional in the Chicago / Gold Coast area. I am interested in establishing relationships with families here looking for weekend/weeknight/ date night/ and occasional sitting jobs. I would be interested in both consistent work or one-time sitting jobs. I've been babysitting and nannying for over 20 years with children of all ages (starting as early as 2 months spanning up to 14 years) including special needs children, and volunteered at my community church in the pre-k/first grade department. I am the oldest of four children and I'm 9 years apart from the youngest, so I am very familiar with large family dynamics and busy households. I also grew up with two dogs so my house was always bustling with energy. I love children, and I'm open to assisting in family activities as well (errands, outings, etc.). I also have experience housesitting and pet-sitting for families on vacation. I'm willing to assist with any cooking, cleaning, and school-related tasks. Hello I’m a mother of 4 grown men. I raised my boys by myself but thrived for them to be strong, independent, hardworking, kind Christian men and those are strong morals that I have. For some reason I’m a magnet to kids lol which is amazing to me cause I love kids so I’ve acquired many many nieces and nephews. I go by Angel so I’m always “Auntie Angel” which I love. I love the outdoors, craft, art, music, animals, reading, movies, cooking, and anything adventurous so with that being said your child will definitely have an adventure with me everyday! Plus I’m strong believer in learning but I like the more creative ways to learn to make it fun and so you remember what you learn! I do have degree in computer programming (so I am smart :)), CNA (so I’ve taken care of elders with all their needs, which makes me very patient and compassionate), been server/GM at restaurant (so I’m responsible, clean, multi tasked, patient, prompt,loyal,trustworthy), and many other jobs. I have nannied for over 7 years. I graduated from SDSU with a degree in liberal studies- for elementary education. Although I have not transitioned to a classroom I find nannying and caring to be an amazing way to fill my life and work! I have loved many families and lots of different configurations over my time!
