I am hard-working, honest, dependable, accountable, educated, punctual, intelligent, mellow, fun, great communicator, thoughtful, can take initiative and have a pitch in attitude, loves outdoors, can be firm yet kind, likes to cook, love animals and do live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle. I maintain a positive outlook in life. I am a person who believes that everything in life matters. One of my greatest qualities is my connection with children. Children are little philosophers, they are bright, resilient and intelligent little people, they watch us closely and sense us on an energetic level. My focus in supporting their development is through activating their neurological brain chemistry and sensory mechanics. When we understand the function of these models, children can evolve through conscious evolution. It is enriching to teach important life skill practices to children. Hi, my name is Daniela, but you can call me Abby! ☺️ I’m a student at San Francisco State, holding an Associate's Degree in psychology, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's. I am fluent in Spanish and English, and I am a beginner in Portuguese and ASL. I am also CPR Certified! My passion has always been working with children. Which is why my major is Psychology, and I am looking forward to achieving my goal of becoming a speech pathologist. As the oldest daughter among my three younger siblings, I began caring for them from the time they were newborns until they reached toddler age. I worked as an after-school lead teacher for Transitional Kindergarten through 3rd grade for two years, which provided me with experience working with children aged 4-12 years old. I’ve gained knowledge in tutoring, crafting, and taking care of their emotional needs, as well as managing a daily schedule with 20+ kids at the same time. I currently have 9 ECE (Childcare) Credits for the following classes: - Child Development. - Children With Special Needs. - Strategies for Special Needs. Now I’m working as a Special Education Teacher Assistant with children of various ages, from preschool to Middle School, while also doing babysitting on the side.
