With over 15 years of experience in childcare, nurturing children has been my lifelong calling, I discovered at just 15 years old and have never looked back. I bring a warm, attentive presence to every family I work with, creating environments where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to grow. Throughout my career I’ve built deep, lasting bonds with families, many of whom I’ve had the privilege of watching grow from the newborn stage into thriving kids. I take pride in being more than just a caregiver; I become a trusted, seamless part of the family. I come with glowing references from past families and am currently accepting new clients. Whether you’re looking for consistent full time or part time care or a reliable professional who understands the unique needs of your household, I’d love to connect

Booked by 23 families in Huntington Park, CA

Hello, my name is Marelin. I'm 28 years old. I am loving and caring with kids. I have taken care of children up until the age of 15. I am reliable, trustworthy and honest. Will do any tasks that are given, my rules are the same rules you have at your house. Pets are okay. I also have my own transportation. Please let me know so we can schedule an interview! I can provide references if needed. Thank you.

Marelin has been our daytime sitter since December 2025, and we're so sad to be losing her only because our family is moving out of LA in November 2026. She's been wonderful. She's reliable, flexible with hours, and always willing to work around our schedule. She’s smart and a quick learner. She picks up house rules and instructions right away. We always feel completely comfortable leaving her alone with our baby. She's endlessly patient during feedings, sings to our daughter, and always gets her down for naps quickly. She spends real time playing with and reading to our baby, who absolutely adores her. She's also happy to help with light housecleaning and errands. Highly recommend Marelin to any family looking for a trustworthy, loving caregiver

Hi! I’m Lesley. I’ve cared for children of different ages over the years and have been lucky to build relationships with several wonderful families, including families who have invited me back regularly. I really enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and helping them feel comfortable, happy, and safe while their parents are away. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I’m happy to follow the routines that work best for your family. Depending on your child’s interests, we might spend our time playing games, making crafts, reading, getting outside, or working on homework. I’m also comfortable helping with meals, bedtime, and other daily routines. Alongside babysitting, I’ve worked professionally in business and operations for several years. That experience has made me very organized, communicative, and comfortable handling unexpected situations calmly—but when I’m with children, my focus is always on making sure they feel cared for and have a good time. A little more about me: I love traveling, staying active, exploring Los Angeles, and spending time at home with my two cats. I’m an animal lover and am very comfortable in homes with cats or dogs. I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your children, and I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

I’m a university student at USC who genuinely loves working with children and supporting families. I’ve spent most of my life volunteering and working in programs that care for kids, and those experiences have shaped my patience, kindness, and understanding. I believe every child deserves a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where they feel happy to learn and grow. I’m responsible, positive, and attentive, and I enjoy creating activities, helping with routines, and making sure kids feel supported and cared for. I also drive, so I’m happy to help with pickups, activities, or errands when needed. Families often describe me as dependable, warm, and someone who brings a calm and uplifting energy. I truly enjoy building meaningful connections with children and being someone families can trust and rely on.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
