My love for children has always felt very natural to me, and I followed my passion by studying Early Childhood Education while earning my B.A. in Psychobiology at UC San Diego. During that time, I lived with a professional athlete and cared for his family and baby girl who was born at just 27 weeks. For almost 5 years, I was by her side after she faced six strokes and many developmental challenges.
