I’m the oldest of seven, so caregiving has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a single-parent home, I naturally stepped in to help my mom with everything from homework and bedtime routines to meals and keeping the house running. Those early years taught me how to be patient, responsible, and calm under pressure, and they’re a huge reason why I’m so comfortable working with kids today.
Outside of my own family, I’ve spent time caring for children in my community and during college. I worked at youth camps and served as a counselor, leading activities, helping kids build friendships, and supporting them through the ups and downs of being young. I also worked with the Boys and Girls Club, mentoring kids both academically and socially. Those experiences helped me develop my own style of caregiving — warm, creative, and centered around helping each child feel seen and capable.
I recently graduated from college, and my education helped strengthen my communication and leadership skills. I love finding ways to connect with kids individually, whether that’s through reading together, exploring their interests, or creating simple learning moments in everyday tasks.
As a caregiver, I’m dependable, gentle, and adaptable. I don’t come in just to supervise; I like to really learn each child’s personality, what comforts them, what excites them, and how to support their growth. I’m also great with busy households and don’t mind pitching in with things like meal prep, light cleaning, organizing, homework help, errands, or pet care. I’ve been doing those things my whole life.
I have over 7 years of experience caring for children from infancy through age 15, and I’ve had the privilege of nannying for multiple families with diverse needs and personalities. I’m open to both live-in and full-time roles depending on the family’s needs. More than anything, I care about building trust, creating a calm and happy environment, and making life a little easier for the families I work with.
