I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages, and I specialize in applied behavioral analysis. Currently, I work in a school setting, supporting autistic children and children with disabilities in their development. I create a fun, engaging, and safe environment that fosters both learning and growth. My approach emphasizes structure and developmentally enriching activities, using play-based techniques to make learning enjoyable. For instance, I might turn toys into counting tools or transform everyday moments into skill-building opportunities. I am a compassionate, patient, and dedicated caregiver who genuinely loves working with children. Since the age of 15, I have cared for children, including those with autism, ensuring they feel supported, valued, and empowered. My goal is to provide a nurturing and educational space where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and cognitively in the classroom and at home, ultimately building productive individuals who contribute positively to society.

With over 15 years of experience in childcare, nurturing children has been my lifelong calling, I discovered at just 15 years old and have never looked back on. I bring a warm, attentive presence to every family I work with, creating environments where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to grow. Throughout my career I’ve built deep, lasting bonds with families, many of whom I’ve had the privilege of watching grow from the newborn stage into thriving kids. I take pride in being more than just a caregiver; I become a trusted, seamless part of the family. I come with glowing references from past families and am currently accepting new clients. Whether you’re looking for consistent full time or part time care or a reliable professional who understands the unique needs of your household, I’d love to connect

Thank you!

• Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Child Development • Master’s in Education in progress • Certified child care provider in the state of California includes: yearly CPR certification, vaccinations, trust line certified, and more! I believe my experience aligns well with what you’re looking for because I’m a very compassionate and self motivated individual. My family has a licensed childcare center. The way we’ve seen our mother teach, guide, support, and encourage little ones is definitely the reason my sisters and I began our journey toward working with children and the root to our ongoing career paths. When time permits I supervise the children and assistants. As well as connect with parents and keep them up to date. Moreover, I worked at an elementary school in Hermosa Beach and at behavioral health network as a Behavior Technician. In regards to nannying I have experience all around - overnight stays, date nights, part time position, and full time position ( I was with my previous family for two years:) Mothers helper: I come in as an extra set of hands for a couple of hours to take care of typical household needs. Which includes laundry, tidying, organizing, and light cleaning. I am open to running errands/ grocery shopping - gas fee add on. This does not include childcare coverage, but can for an increase hourly rate. Nanny work: I enjoy spending time with children (art, reading, outdoor play, etc.) and helping them get out of their comfort zone. When it comes to activities with the child/children it really depends on what you’re open to as the parent. If I’m given a budget we could go to the zoo, aquarium, etc. Of course there’s always the park, library, and playing at home. I’m open to using my car when needed (with gas reimbursement:). Overall, I always keep in mind on what’s in the best interest for the child (of course, with the input of the parents). Note: Regardless of the type of booking I want to emphases that my job is to focus on the well being and development of your child/ children. When time permits I don’t mind picking up after the child, unloading/ loading dishwasher, etc. I am in no means a professional cook or cleaner. *I have experience house- sitting and dog sitting as well! * rates vary on holiday bookings * If this is something that works for you I look forward on connecting further. Respectfully, Susana

Hello! My name is Joanna, I’m 28 years old and I’m originally from Poland/Italy. I was an AuPair in America (live in nanny) in 2[removed] and again in 2022-2023. I am CPR certified and trained to always make sure kids are safe. I have lots of experience in taking care of 3 or more kids at the same time and toddlers. I started babysitting around 10 years ago. I am an Italian tutor so I will be happy to teach your kids some new words (I’m fluent in Polish, Italian, English and I’m currently learning Spanish) and help them with homework. I always do my best to encourage kids to spend time in an active way and teach them about healthy lifestyle because I’m also a Personal Trainer and I’m very passionate about fitness. I am extremely reliable, responsible and punctual. I never canceled any of my babysittings and during the years as an AuPair never took an unexpected day off. I love to spend time with children and be a great role model for them. I’m happy to introduce myself better over a quick phone call 😊 + I am also a very strong driver with clean driving record and a reliable, safe car

She was so warm, our kids took to Joanna immediately!! We will definitely be calling her again very soon!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
