I have experience with working with multiple kids at once including twins and triplets! Along with this , I also have experience working with kids with special needed. I enjoy doing fun indoor activities with the kids I take care of. In my free time I enjoy doing arts and crafts as well as doing silly dances to music. I am very organized and have a strong sense of attention to detail. I speak both English and Spanish and I am great at communication to both parents and their kids! Aveed Long Beach
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Aveed. I genuinely love working with kids and have 3 years of experience at Kumon, where I helped students of all personalities and learning styles. I was often trusted with more challenging children because of my patience, creativity, and ability to connect with them while keeping learning fun and productive. In addition, I have 2 years of nannying experience for neighbors, where I regularly cared for multiple children at once. I’m comfortable managing different ages, keeping kids engaged, helping with homework, and maintaining a safe and structured environment. I’m very creative and enjoy playing the piano and violin, painting, and coming up with engaging activities that keep kids entertained and learning. I also love staying active, whether it’s playing outside, doing crafts, or organizing games. I love animals too — I have a puppy of my own and am happy to be around pets. I’m responsible, patient, and dependable, and I strive to create a safe, positive, and fun environment for children. I would love the opportunity to work with your family!

Booked by 7 families in Long Beach, CA

Hi! my name is Katrina. I am currently a student at Cal State Long Beach. I offer child care, senior care, pet care, tutoring, and household services. I am an older sister to two siblings. I enjoy being around children I've spent many of my weekends volunteering for my church's daycare. I have experience with kids of all ages and caring for multiple kids at a time. I can also provide reference numbers if needed. My responsibilities have included tutoring, crafting, outdoor and indoor activities, preparing lunch or snacks, cleaning up messes, pick up and drop off etc. I have been a caretaker to my Grandmother in her 80s since I was 14 years old so I also offer senior care. I could cook, clean, organize medicine, or do any task required of me. I also work as a household assistant, I can cook, do dishes, do laundry, clean the house, etc.

Katrina once again is very prompt she comes at her designated time. The girls are feeling very comfortable, she receives them with respect. I too feel very confident with letting her take my grandchildren to school I’m adding to this review. Katrina worked for us for over 2/ 1/2 months. She also worked when she went back to school. I feel very confident with her. She responded quickly when I needed more days even though her schedule was different. I appreciate her loyalty to assist.

Dynasty Long Beach
$21 per hour for 1 child

I’m currently in college studying English Literature and children development. I’ll be obtaining my teacher’s credentials. Not only am I going to school to teach and understand the development of a child, I’ve grown up being the youngest in a family of 13. I’ve babysat my sibling’s kids all the time, and it’s helped me a lot with my education. I grew up with 2 dogs and 1 cat, so I have a bit experience taking care of pets as well. A little about me, I love reading, writing poetry, crocheting and dancing! I’m very easy going and love talking and meeting new people. I’m also reliable ;) I hope to become a reoccurring nanny!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
