I'm a married, 35 year-old journalist in a transition phase. Previously, I worked for 10 years as a lifeguard and swim instructor, so I have plenty of experience working with children (infants up to young teens). I'm mild-mannered, calm and patient. I have a sweet little dog named Jacuzzi and we often dog-sit for others, so I'm very comfortable around dogs and all kinds of pets. I'm also a bit of a clean freak and organizer, so I don't mind doing stuff around the house or in the yard, etc.

I am a recent San Francisco State graduate. I have a Bachelor's of Art degree in Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in youth work and out of school time. I have a vast array of experience working with children that spans over six years. I have worked as a preschool teacher for two different preschools both in San Francisco and Portland, OR. I have also worked a total of four years as a camp counselor for Camp Galileo. In terms of nannying I have worked for about six different families and have done weekly sittings, overnight trips, school pickups, meal making, bedtime preparation, arts and crafts, etc. I have also volunteered with Reading Partners, Safe & Sound, San Mateo Outdoor Education, and San Francisco Unified School District. I love working with children and have gained my knowledge through experience but also higher education. I am hoping to get my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I love to babysit whenever I have free time.

I've recently taken a break from running operations for tech startups on the East Coast, and relocated from Boston, MA to sunny Los Angeles! As I've settled into West Coast life, I've enjoyed building a practice of home care, dog sitting, personal assistance, and household services. I have clientele from Long Beach to Santa Monica to the Hollywood Hills and have helped them with childcare, pet care, errands, house cleaning, cooking, scheduling, driving and small business support.
