Tashi $25 per hour for 1 child

I love kids and the potent love and curiosity they have for the world. I've been trusted with neighbors', friends' and strangers' children and pets for 10 years. I'm certified in infant and adult first aid/CPR (up to date). I have some experience with infants. I'm a kind, creative person and I have a lot of patience and imagination when it comes to helping children navigate the ups and downs of a day in our crazy world. I also love pets and am happy to care for animals. I also have experience as a companion for seniors (mostly family in my case) and am happy to provide that service.

$28 per hour for 1 child

Hi my name is Taz. I have over 9+ yrs of babysitting experience with children ages toddlers - 10+ yrs. I am the go to sitter for all my friends & I have regular families that I work with monthly. I have families that I work with date nights, nanny coverage, school closure, etc. I provide my monthly availability calendar to families which they enjoy this format, and I also can be reached out anytime via text for dates, last min requests, etc. I have experience petsitting (I have a dog & cat) & housesitting. I have loved the experience of caretaking and I look forward to meeting more sweet kids / families in the neighborhood. When I'm not caring for your loved ones, photography is a passion of mine specializing in photojournalism, candids, & child photography. I also help pt at an office on flexible weekends. I am reliable, I have a flexible schedule, & I provide light housework while kids are sleeping. I look forward to meeting you. :)

Taz has been our primary go-to sitter for the last year. My 3.5 yr old son absolutely adores her and asks for her constantly. She’s our date night sitter and handles bedtime like a pro, and we also book her to watch him when his preschool has a day off. On those days they play outside, go for walks, make art, play play doh and have a blast. A bonus is she takes amazing photos while they’re hanging out. Taz is super trustworthy, easy to communicate with and very reliable. I also love how she sends us a view of her month’s availability. We love Taz and highly recommend her!

Anna $33 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Los Angeles, CA

Hi! I'm Anna and I love children! I love children so much because they are the most brilliant, hilarious, honest, authentic human beings. It is an honor to be entrusted with supporting them as they learn how to navigate this complex world. I taught pre-school at Play Mountain Place ( a Play School in LA since 1949) for four years. After which, I worked as a Nanny for 15 years. I worked with one family with two daughters ( ages 2 and 5 at start date) for four years, followed by a family with one daughter ( age 1 at start date) for six years. I most recent worked with a family with 5 year old triplets, for 5 years ( I met them on this site!) I have 12 units of Early Childhood Education course work. I also have a Yoga Teacher Certification with a specialty in yoga with children and Pre-Natal Yoga. My childcare philosophy is relationship driven. I believe in forging a strong connection with mutual respect and using Non-Violent Communication to resolve any conflicts. I love child led activities. I believe in play and natural consequences as learning tools. I use limits and balancing individual needs with group/family needs rather than discipline. I am imaginative, yet practical. Free and fair. I would love to meet you and your family!

Abigail $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Abby, and I’m a dependable caregiver based in Los Angeles with two years of combined childcare experience, including both family-based and independent care. I’m open to both recurring and one-time roles and value clear communication, consistency, and creating a calm, supportive environment for children. I have experience caring for children ages 4 and up and am comfortable caring for one or two children at a time. I enjoy engaging kids through reading, board games, puzzles, crafts, and educational activities, and I’m comfortable incorporating light, age-appropriate technology when appropriate. I’m patient, responsible, and organized, and I take household routines and guidelines seriously. I make it a priority to stay in touch with parents through regular updates, either in person at the end of care or by text or call, depending on your preference. As a college student at USC, I bring strong communication and organization skills to my work and take reliability and professionalism seriously. My goal is to provide dependable, high-quality care while building positive, trusting relationships with families. I’m happy to connect and see if we’re a good fit.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
