For eight years, I have had the privilege of assisting families as a nanny for children from infancy through adolescence. I was previously with a family of 6 children, all under age 6, which included a set of twins on the autism spectrum. I am able to assist with homework and tutoring using various methods, whether it be visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. I am a firm believer in positive communication and believe it is important to teach children how to communicate their emotions. I use emotion cards or simply have a conversation and after a rough day I most commonly introduce art or sound therapy. I am experienced caring for more than one child at a time and of all abilities.
