With over 24 years of experience in childcare and early childhood education, caring for children is more than a career for me—it is something I truly love and feel honored to give back to my community through.
I have experience as an infant-toddler teacher, preschool educator, school director, and fourth-grade teacher, and I am also a trained CPR provider and postpartum doula. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting families during some of their most important moments, including being present in the hospital for several births.
I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can truly trust—someone consistent, dependable, nurturing, and engaged with their child—so they can work, take care of responsibilities, or simply have peace of mind. I believe in building a village around children and families, because having the right person in your child’s life can make such a meaningful difference.
I take the time to get to know each child individually—their personality, interests, communication style, routines, and the things that make them feel safe and confident. I love learning through play, exploring nature, encouraging healthy habits, introducing children to nutritious foods, and helping them develop positive habits around communication, cleanliness, kindness, and their attitudes toward themselves and others.
My goal is always to create an environment where children feel cared for, respected, safe, and encouraged to learn and grow at their own stage of development. I believe that when we invest in children and give them loving, consistent guidance, we are helping build a stronger and healthier community for everyone.
I am open and flexible with scheduling and would love to find an arrangement that works well for both your family and me. I look forward to getting to know you and your children and hopefully becoming a trusted part of your family’s village.
