Fallbrook

Booked by 29 families in Mountain Center, CA

Hi! I’m Adrienne Colbert (pronounced co-bear). As a student midwife and professional doula, my life's calling is supporting families. I bring an elite level of medical safety, nurturing care, and newborn expertise to my childcare families. Safety Credentials: Fully certified in CPR, First Aid, BLS (Basic Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). My Care Policies: Multiple Children: I occasionally bring my trusted assistant so every child gets individual, attentive care. Late Bookings: If a job ends late at night, my assistant arrives at the very end of the shift strictly to accompany me home for commute safety. Backup Support: My assistant is a professional backup sitter and will never disrupt your children's routine. Caring for your children is a profound honor, never just a job. I look forward to connecting!

Adrienne was fantastic. I had a great feeling about her even from our first meeting over FaceTime, and that impression held up completely once she came over. She was punctual and reliable, and I felt totally comfortable leaving my son in her care. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter, and I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again.

Desert Hot Springs
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 31 families in Mountain Center, CA

Hey! My name is Naomi and I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with my AA in Early Childhood Education. With that being said, I have been working with children for a little over a decade now and I love every minute of it! I currently work full-time in a private learning center where I work as a Lead Teacher in the infant classroom. I’ve worked with infants, toddlers, pre-school, school-age, middle & high schoolers! I am CPR & First-Aid certified, have my reliable transportation & I love working with kids!! I have younger siblings so I use them as my guinea pigs for creative fun activities for us to do. Well I’ve said too much, thank you all for taking the time to read this. As far as pricing goes, I can be very reasonable and fair, as long as we communicate and work something out! I do have a standard rate of charging an extra +$3-5 when it involves an infant-toddler as this is my specialty. Of course, my pricing also depends on the occasion, day, holiday, every factor counts! Let me know if you have any questions, I’m here to help you out ! I should also mention this- my policy is, whether the sitting ends before the original designated time you had requested for me, I would still expect the pay for the time you scheduled. My rates are hourly & begin hourly (if it’s less than 3 hours), so for example if the time is less than 1 hour, I would still be paid for 1 full hour. If it’s less than 3, I would be paid for the full 3 hours. Due to the fact that my day is already planned around the time of the sitting so it is only fair, I get paid for my time, which includes mileage. Thank you in advance!

I recently completed my final year at Cal Poly Humboldt with a BA in International Studies and minors Anthropology, French and Business Marketing. Since high school, I’ve spent so much of my time loving and caring for my sisters’ children. In Aug 2021, I moved to Chicago to explore new opportunities and babysat part time for a year. I moved back to California in Aug 2022 to be closer to my nieces and nephews. I have experience with all ages! I have taught some toddlers how to write and read and would love to continue educating young minds. I also have experience working with children on the ADHD/Autism spectrum. I also have experience with tutoring older ages, housekeeping in moderation, and house organization! My hobbies include singing, making music, art, dance, and being outdoors. I’m very flexible and willing to try new things!

Diamond was very patient with my two kids. One four and one 3 months. My daughter felt very comfortable with her. At the end of the night she was honest with how the night went and how she felt babysitter my baby. I appreciated that the most :)

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
