I am a dedicated and compassionate college student pursuing a degree in Public Health, with hands-on experience caring for individuals across all stages of life, including children, adults, seniors, pets, and households. My background in the health field has given me both the technical skills and emotional awareness needed to provide safe, reliable, and empathetic care. I understand that caregiving is not just about completing tasks, but about building trust, showing patience, and creating a supportive environment where others feel valued and respected.
My caregiving journey began shortly after graduating high school, when I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a nursing home. In this role, I provided direct care to seniors, assisting with daily living activities, mobility, personal hygiene, and emotional support. This experience taught me responsibility, professionalism, and the importance of dignity and compassion in caregiving. Working closely with seniors helped me develop strong communication skills and an understanding of the physical, emotional, and social challenges that can come with aging.
In addition to senior care, I have extensive experience working with children. I currently teach and supervise summer camps for children ages 3 to 16, where I am responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment. Through this work, I have developed strong skills in leadership, patience, creativity, and conflict resolution. I enjoy supporting children’s growth, encouraging learning through play, and helping them feel confident and cared for. My ability to adapt to different age groups allows me to meet each child’s unique needs while maintaining structure and fun.
I am also a genuine animal lover and feel very comfortable caring for pets. I understand that pets are family members, and I approach pet care with the same responsibility, patience, and affection that I bring to human caregiving. I enjoy spending time with furry friends, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I love reptiles as well I have a crested geico!
Personality-wise, I am a caring, positive, and approachable individual who enjoys helping others. I love to laugh, connect with people, and bring warmth into the spaces I work in. I understand that life comes with challenges, and my experiences have taught me empathy, resilience, and gratitude. I am thankful for where I am today and motivated to give back through meaningful work that supports others.
