I worked as a full-time classroom teacher with children of all ages for 10 years and managed a tutoring center and summer school. I love learning with kids whether its out of a book or playing outside. Recently I have been caring for an elderly couple, assisting them with all varieties of personal and practical needs as well as helping with the extended family including infant and toddler care. Patience and kindness are very important to me as well as having fun. I can cook (I used to be a chef as well) and do household chores and gardening. I have a CA drivers license and a spotless driving record, but no car at the moment. I love cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
