Hello Family, My name is Ashanti, I have been a nanny for 5 years along with baby sitting for 2 years. I love kids, I am super passionate about what I do. I work with majority infants, and toddlers and early age elementary kids. I’ve worked with all different types of families and children ( only child, twins, 3 and 4 kids at a time). I enjoy playing with them, teaching them new things, and also being able to be there for them; along with helping my parents that just need a little extra support. Some activities that I do with my children are outside time, story time, numbers and letter activities, and just making sure we meet milestone. I am currently in college studying criminal justice with a minor in psychology. I plan on working with children in the future that are in foster care. I am such a sweet and compassionate person with a understanding heart. I know it can get a little overwhelming being a parent so that's where I come into place. I also help prepare meal, helping clean up, help getting children on schedule to help for parents, school pick ups, night time nannying, I love doing activities as said before and creating memories is the most important thing. I DO NOT do screen time with my children, that is our time to interact with one another. I'm super big on communication with any of my parents I will always let you know what the child ate, I keep track of naps and bottles, and you will always know what our day consisted of. Hi! I am a 2025 graduate from UC Irvine, hoping to find a family I can babysit/nanny for on consistent basis during my gap year before law school. I am 23- years old and have 8 years of babysitting and nannying experience for younger children aged 6 months-13 years old, with experience nannying up to 3 children under my care at a time. I was a certified lifeguard at Sequoia Country Club for two years and worked at the child care center there during that time where I was responsible for the needs and safety of up to 15 children at a time. I also have over 500 hours of community service as a reading tutor for elementary school kids through the programs Reading Buddies and Reading Partners. I have also worked with children with disabilities as a respite care professional while in college. I love kids and would be happy to do school/ summer camp pickup and drop off, do fun crafts and games, and take them to the park. I have a 2020 model Tiguan Volkswagen with three rows of seats that will make it easy for me to go to and from your house. I also have my CPR and First Aid qualifications.

I am a mother of two boys, a 15 and 13 year old. My wonderful loving 15 year old has Autism. Having a child on the spectrum has taught me a lot of patience, the importance of consistency and the value of attention to details. I am also currently a substitute aide at OUSD.
