Hi! My name is Yoselyn. I am from Peru and I speak Spanish and English. I have over 8 years of experience working with children through volunteering, babysitting, and childcare support. I am very patient, caring, honest, and responsible. I have taken childcare and infant care courses, and I am trained in first aid. I have also participated in volunteer work with children, which strengthened my passion for childcare. I truly enjoy supporting children's development and helping them learn, explore, and grow in a safe and positive environment. I always prioritize children's safety and emotional well-being. I am looking for a respectful and safe environment where I can support families and be part of children's daily routine. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, watching movies, riding my bike, exploring new places, and hiking. I would love the opportunity to bring my experience, care, and positive energy to your family and support your children's growth.

Yoselyn was great with my baby. She was always caring, patient, and dependable. I would definitely recommend her to any family looking for a kind and trustworthy nanny.

Tenzin 1 review
$40 per hour for 1 child

I'm a loving and patient nanny with over 12 years of experience caring for children from diverse backgrounds. I'm Tibetan born and raised in India and fluent in three languages, I focus on nurturing each child's unique personality with kindness and respect. Guided by my Buddhist values, I create a safe and positive environment where children feel loved and can grow at their own pace. My naturally friendly, patient, and creative personality allows me to connect easily with kids, creating a safe, warm, and engaging environment where they can thrive. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, and I'm always happy to provide updates in the way that works best for you-whether it's a quick text, a detailed conversation at the end of the day, or anything in between. I respect and follow household routines and rules while also encouraging children to explore their independence and express themselves freely.

Tenzin is one of a kind and I have interviewed almost all of the nannies on urban sitter including on sight trial days with about 150 of the higly rated nannies. I am not kidding, I am very picky when it comes to child care... She is full of compassion, empathy and kindness. She comes home with full of positive energy every single day. She is very smart, emotionally very stable, she is extremely patient with kids. She makes every moment a fun, engaging and memorable moment with her creativity, positivity. She is full of positive energy. She turns tough moments into fun moments, It is hard to explain her greatness with these simple words... The world needs more people like Tenzin. If every child had a caregiver liked Tenzin the world would thrive!!! Tenzin makes exceptional expected. She is a baby charm, child magnet or what ever you call... She worked with us for 2 years, she raised my son with really good manners, she taught my son English and she raised my baby girl putting a lot of effort not to even make them get upset, not even close... Let your child meet her, spend time with her, it will make a huge difference, your child deserves this experience, it is much more full filling and much more fun then the Disneyland ;) I am surprise I am the first one to write her a review here on Urbansitter, she is very humble to ask for a review...

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 7 families in Oakland, CA

Hello my name is Emma M. I have been living in the Bay Area for six years but I'm originally from Northern CA. I have experience with special need kids including those with cerebral palsy, pika, autism, and those needing full time care. Seeing kids with a range of capabilities through Ability First programs has opened up my view on how to support each individual child and family. Having taught elementary level summer school back North showed me how much I love to see kids grow. Most recently I've been with a family of six (three kids +dog) for 4 years. My responsibilities were wide including transporting to activities, housecleaning, grocery shopping, cooking meals, and of course caring/keeping the kids active and learning. This last school year I have worked for Three families consistently along with multiple need-based families in the Berkeley area. I have loved the experience it has brought me. With the summer approaching I'm transitioning from these beautiful families. I am eager to find a great fit to help for at least the next year or so. I'm very reliable and flexible so please leave and ask any questions you wish. Have a nice day! :)

Our girls LOVED Emma. They had so much fun and afterward, our oldest was already asking when Emma could come back to watch them again. Highly recommend.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Oakland, CA

Hi there! My name is Shanel. I have experience with all ages as I’ve worked in daycares and worked with many different families who have had children of different ages ranging from 0 to 15. I also have a lot of experience with children who have mental or physical disabilities. My responsibilities thus far having been driving, homework help, crafts/indoor activities, outdoor activities, overnight help or babysitting, preparing meals, bottle feeding, bedtime routines, changing diapers or bath time and hosting play dates. I’ve also done live in care for over two years. I’m able to offer senior care, pet care and household care/errands as I’ve taken care of both my grandparents and have had many different pets of my own. I can cook, clean, do laundry, drive, organize etc. I am CPR certified and a non-smoker. I have my California drivers license, I also have my own car.

Shanel was everything we needed in a babysitter. She regularly cared for our younger son from age 4 months to 1 year. She was reliable, efficient, and most importantly, very caring and nurturing to our son. She did everything from bottles and nap time to solid foods and activities for his development. She would sometimes care for our 4 year old son as well, and could manage both very well. She has no problem getting down on the floor to read, play, talk and sing. We would use Shanel again and highly recommend her.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
