Susan 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child

With three years of dedicated childcare experience and a genuine passion for creating nurturing, active, and imaginative environments for children, I am confident I can provide excellent care and enrichment for your family. For the past three years, I have cared for two children from infancy through early school age, supporting them through critical developmental milestones. During this time, I have honed skills in daily childcare routines, safety protocols, creative play, and age-appropriate activities. I am organized and detail-oriented in managing schedules, meal preparation, and household responsibilities, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and trustworthiness. My natural creativity shines through in how I engage children, whether through outdoor adventures, reading sessions, nature walks, or imaginative play that stimulates learning and joy. I bring an active, energetic approach to childcare that aligns with my genuine love for outdoor activities and physical engagement. I believe children thrive when encouraged to explore, play, and discover the world around them, and I am committed to fostering curiosity and confidence in every child I care for. My honest, reliable nature and strong work ethic have built deep trust with my current family, and I am eager to bring these same qualities to your household. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my experience, creativity, and dedication to childcare excellence can meet your family's needs. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Susan has been nannying for our family for the past three years, caring for our nine year old daughter and three year old son. She is truly the most patient, compassionate, and loving nanny I have ever met. Susan is incredibly flexible, reliable, and dedicated, she puts her whole heart into caring for our children. Over the past three years, she has become so much more than our nanny, she has truly become part of our family. My son is starting preschool full-time in September, and I know it will be a huge adjustment for both of my kids when Susie is no longer here. We will miss her more than we can put into words. Susan has given our children a genuine love for cooking, art, music, and nature. They have loved all of the adventures she takes them on, from trips to the beach, library, parks, the pool, to all the little everyday activities she makes special. She is always engaged, creative, and intentional about making their days fun, meaningful, and enriching. Our kids absolutely adore her, and we feel so lucky to have had her in their lives. I would give Susan more stars if I could! Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her care for their children.

$36 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Orinda, CA

Hi families! My name is Chokey, and I’m currently looking for my next wonderful family to work with. I will be available starting September 28, 2026. A little about me: I’m Tibetan, born and raised in India, and I have an 18-year-old son who recently graduated from high school. I have over 10 years of professional nanny experience, caring for children from newborns through age 10, with extensive experience with infants and toddlers. I have worked with several families starting from the newborn stage, and with many others, I started when their babies were around 3–4 months old. I also have experience caring for twins and working in a nanny-share, caring for children from two different families at the same time. Before moving to the U.S., I worked as a Registered Nurse in India, with experience in midwifery and newborn care. My nursing background has given me valuable knowledge and experience that I bring to my work caring for babies and young children. I am also trained in CPR and infant massage. I come from a Buddhist background and bring a calm, compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach to childcare. I’m reliable, responsible, and truly committed to providing loving and attentive care. I’m looking for a full-time position with a minimum of 45 guaranteed hours per week. Additional hours would be greatly appreciated. I’m very flexible and happy to stay late when needed, help on weekends, or accommodate occasional last-minute schedule changes. I have excellent references from my previous families and would be happy to provide them. If you think I may be a good fit for your family, I would love to connect and learn more about your childcare needs.

I would give Chokey 10 stars if I could! She takes care of our kids (5 yo boy and 1,5 yo girl) regularly and she is so wonderful with them. She is very caring, loving, she constantly makes our kids laugh and they adore her. Chokey is very hardworking and goes above and beyond. She never takes shortcuts. I feel my children are very safe with her as she is a registered nurse. It's a joy to have Chokey around.

Hi, I’m Stefani and I would love to meet your family soon! 😊 I’m a responsible and patient caregiver with experience taking care of children. I’m a loving, respectful, and kind person, and I like to bring a calm and happy environment.

Stefani cared for my kids with warmth, patience, and professionalism. They adored her, and I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend!

Raquel 5 reviews
$35 per hour for 1 child

I have been working with children for 10 years, from newborns to teenagers. I have supported many families as a Newborn Care Specialist, and I currently work in an after-school daycare program with children ages 0 to 4 years, which allows me to have daytime availability for full-time nanny positions. I love dogs and am very punctual, reliable, and communicative.

Raquel took care of my daughter Alice for a little over a month, and I only have positive things to say! She is extremely responsible, caring, and has excellent communication with parents. At first, my daughter cried a lot because she struggles with being away from me, but Raquel was very patient and managed to gain both her trust and mine. She was always attentive and often did even more than what we had agreed upon when it came to Alice’s care. It was truly a wonderful experience having her with us, and I’m only sad that our schedules no longer align. I highly recommend her!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
