Child at Heart ♡ I have been caring for children since I was a young girl and it brings me such joy. Which is why I have done everything from babysitting/nanny to coaching a Special Olympics team, to teaching Art Therapy at the Ronald McDonald House, to teaching swimming, photography, and English to kids, in the US and abroad. I do have my certification for AED, Adult, Child, Infant CPR & AED Training, valid until 03/20/28 and a safe SUV for driving infants to teens. For me the joy is finding what excites each child - and then creating an opportunity for play and learning, whatever the age. Currently (and always!) I am writing a children's book series and want to spend more time with kids. All ages are a fun and creative exploration for me too - always working to find new ways to keep them safe, happy and curious! Teaching for me includes: being in nature, long walks outside, reading, writing, cooking, drawing, games, crafting or building robots, play, music, sport, meditation, kindness, ART, making videos, taking pictures, swimming, yoga, and so much more! Unique: I enjoy exposing young learners to new languages (even infants) including Chinese, Japanese and French. In addition, I do have a small service dog that kids love to play with, read to and cuddle with. She also loves giving hugs!

Hi families! My name is Jasmine, and I’m currently a rising junior at Wellesley College double majoring in Education and Psychology. I have always loved working with children because I understand how important it is for them to have someone who is patient, supportive, and trustworthy in their lives. I also understand that choosing someone to care for your child is a big decision, and I never take that trust lightly. My goal is to create an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. My experience caring for children has grown naturally through my family and the relationships I have built with the children I have cared for. As an older sister, I have always helped support and look after my siblings, which taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of being attentive to each child’s individual needs. I have also had the opportunity to care for my younger cousin from infancy through his toddler years, and watching him grow has taught me so much about the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a nurturing environment. While attending Wellesley, I have also gained babysitting experience in Boston, where I have enjoyed getting to know families and helping create a safe and positive space for their children.
