Hi! My name is Mariagracia, but I go by MG. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish. Recently graduated from San Francisco State University with a major in Environmental Studies. I’ve always loved caring for kids—whether they were cousins, family friends, or neighbors. I’ve worked with children of all ages, from 2 months to 12 years old, and I’m comfortable caring for up to 3 or 4 kids at a time. I’m CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. Safety is always my top priority when working with kids. I can help with homework, school pick-ups, meal/snack prep, daily walks, playdates, swimming, and keeping kids engaged and entertained. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping and tidying up play areas. On top of that, I’ve house sat for multiple families over the years and have experience caring for both dogs and cats—so if you have pets, that’s a big plus for me! I bring a calm, caring, and responsible energy to every family I work with and always aim to create a safe and fun environment for kids to thrive in.

We enjoyed meeting Mariagracia for her first sit with our kids! Hopefully many more to come! She was on time, professional, friendly, and had great chemistry with our girls (1 and 3 y/o). Thanks MG!

Booked by 40 families in San Diego, CA

Hello, I'm Hope, I'm 21years old and a sophomore in college. I provide child care, and light housekeeping services. I enjoy working with kids and making a difference in my community. At Fay Elementary, I also worked as an teaching assistant. Collaborating with the lead teacher to keep an eye on the students, providing guidance, support to one or more students. I take charge in providing your child/children with a safe and engaging environment. Organizing playdates and trips, supervising, planning meals, preparing food, and/or feeding your children. Last but certainly not least, I take pleasure in what I do and look forward to meeting you and your child/children.

Hope stepped in on fairly short notice and did an excellent job caring for our 5 and 2 year old for two full days! Highly recommend.

Booked by 7 families in San Diego, CA

My name is Anna Teresa. I am a 22 year old female. I have my CPR and first aid training. I always enjoy meeting new personalities, whether it's children, seniors, or pets. I am very patient and try my best to prioritize whoever I am watching's safety. I have worked with babies 7 months-11 years old, but I am open to taking care of a different range of ages. I currently work with adults that are on the spectrum Monday-Friday from 8am-3:30pm but I am available during the evenings and weekends! For animals, I have always grown up with animals in my home. From fish, to hamsters, dogs, and even a chinchilla. I don't have a lot of experience taking care of cats but I am always more than happy to learn and adjust to what they need and enjoy.

We had a wonderful experience with Anna caring for our dog for over a week. Our dog took to her immediately, which is unusual. She sent us lots of photos while we were away and you could tell that our pup was happy. We have already booked her again. Thanks, Anna!!!

I have nannied for over 7 years. I graduated from SDSU with a degree in liberal studies- for elementary education. Although I have not transitioned to a classroom I find nannying and caring to be an amazing way to fill my life and work! I have loved many families and lots of different configurations over my time! I’ve worked with multiple toddlers, special needs children, been hands on with elementary schoolers and I’ve grown very comfortable in so many settings. With having such a diverse group of people to nanny for I’ve found myself cooking, cleaning, organizing and even more, I’m happy to help in so many ways!I love to bring a gentle, patient and supportive environment for any kiddo while still providing structure and routine with clear communication. CPR/First aid certified, up to date and also trust line registered

Ace was awesome! Always on time and my little brother loved them! 10/10 recommend

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
